Day 69 / Barxa - Chantada / 52.5 km

Left at 6.30 Barxa. Arrived around 15.30 at Chantanda. Great but tough day. Great, as the views and scenery where superb, some good running but also some good hiking as running was often not possible. Tough, as a lot of height meters (if you go down you have to get up again), a lot of rocks and water to manage on the path, warm ! It was definitely one of the best days of my journey but it didn’t leave a lot of energy to write an extensive report. I hope the pictures are enough today to give an idea on what a great day it was.

Lessons learned :
- Less then 100k to go to Santiago
- Running shorts and nettles are not a good combination
- One should study the elevation plan before starting to run 50 k
- I can do more then 50K
- If you  are sleeping in hostal for 12 €/night one should not expect that not everything is clean.
- Tomorrow more climbing, up to 1150 meters, is expected

Song of today : Tired Feet - Alela Diane
